With the bad weather outside most of the work was done in the laboratory or at the station. The water isotope incubations ended and the we also start the soil incubations that will be finished in 24h. This is the first time that Hg isotope incubations are being done in volcanic soil so we are very curious about the results.

In the afternoon we mapped all sites and analyse of vertical profiles. According to the dissolved oxygen, pH and redox potential data, the final sites for water sampling were chosen. When the weather is fine we will return to the bay.

Below the map with the survey sites (RED), sites already sampled (BLUE) and one site for isotope fingerprint (YELLOW). Some of the red will become blue in the next few days.
